74, died peacefully 10/1/17, at the Arbor House of Lewisville, TX, surrounded by her family .In death, Diane is reunited with her sweetheart, her husband of almost 40 years, William "Bill" Milord. She leaves behind her 3 children, Billy Milord, Kelly (Jim) Hansen, Johnny (Julie) Milord, and 1 grandson, Rory Milord. Diane was born in Chicago, IL, the oldest of 3 children to John and Alice Corcoran. She grew up in Junction City, KS, attended St. Xavier's school and later graduated with a BA in Art from Kansas State University. Diane was a gifted artist in many mediums, specializing in children's portraits in watercolor. She was also an elementary school teacher in Chicago, IL and Kansas City, KS, making a positive impact on all of the little lives entrusted to her care. Diane was a woman of great faith. A Charismatic Catholic, she was active in her church and prayer groups. Her kind and gentle spirit made her a true blessing to anyone who knew her. Visitation Saturday, October 7, 2017 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass 10:00 a.m. at St. John Fisher Church, 10234 S Washtenaw Ave, Chicago, IL 60655, Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
